We’ve been hinting at this for a few months now, and today is finally the day that we get to scream it from the rooftops:

The Sunlight Space is under new ownership!! 🎉

I’m so thrilled to announce that Emily Sooy of is the new owner of The Sunlight Space. 💛

For me, this is such a bittersweet moment. The Sunlight Space is what launched me into my career as a full-time brand photographer.

Hundreds of clients and sessions later, I am so grateful for the space, the memories, and the beautiful community that has come with it all.

But honestly, I’m even more grateful that my studio going to Emily Sooy, who cares just as much about The Sunlight Space as I do, if not more!

The day is finally here! I’m so excited and brimming with happiness. I love The Sunlight Space and I’m proud to call it my own after months of hard work from both of us.

First, I want to take a moment to thank Emily Kim for all the guidance and cheering me on every step of the way. She built this business and community with so much love. I wouldn’t be here today without her inspiration and drive to open The Sunlight Space.
