Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj visited Denmark following an announcement from Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Denmark has committed to donating 19 of its F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
Here’s what you need to know:

🛩 Denmark will donate 19 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

🤝 This support stands as a symbol of Denmark's continuous backing for Ukraine, especially after Russia's invasion last year.

🎉 The first batch of six planes is expected to be sent around New Year. The rest will be delivered in the coming years.

💪 The F-16s, known as the Fighting Falcon, are versatile aircraft equipped for air-to-air combat and ground strikes.

🤖 Denmark plans to replace all its F-16s with the modern F-35A Joint Strike Fighters by the end of 2025.

🇺🇸 The USA previously gave permission for Denmark to donate these US-produced fighter jets.

🎓 Ukrainian pilots will be trained to operate these jets, with Denmark and Holland leading the training program.

🌍 Denmark and Holland are the first to commit to such donations, with hopes that other nations will follow.
