After 20 years using Canon digital Cameras, I am going Sony. Mainly because it’s far more compact and lighter.
Canon refusing to allow other manufacturers to make lenses with the r mount is a deal breaker.
Tuttle camera in Long Beach has a bunch of used Sony A series bodies as well as E mount Lenses if anyone’s on the hunt.

It 3:40 a.m. Mel let Maggie out to p*e and she got sprayed by a skunk in our yard. And then…….she ran in at breakneck sp*ed and stop, drop and rolled on every rug, floor and piece of furniture she could get to before Mel starts freaking out and telling me to put her in the car and take her to the emergency vet which of course would result in an undrivable vehicle for 3 weeks.
Fortunately she did get the vet on the phone who shut that down. We clean for 2 hours, bag up every towel, blanket, clothing, put out bowls of vinegar, put on vans, air conditioner, ventilation fans, mop, shower.
Mel then looks out in the yard and describes the skunk standing up and looking at her just like this🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have no idea how I’m still around.
Last night I was hit from behind on my motorcycle in seal beach on pacific coast highway. I was doing 40-50mph and I was hit hard enough that my bike ended up over multiple lanes and the median/curb 150 feet away. ( that white car hit me and that large oil stain the road is where the bike ended up)
I was dragged at least 20-30 ft under the front of the car, and the only thing keeping me from going under was my helmet was wedged between the pavement and the fender of the car that hit me.
I was able to standup, get off the road and was standing and alert the whole time. After ambulance/ trauma team at Long Beach memorial, CT’s, and all testing, They say I have no internal injuries or broken bones.
However I have serious road burn covering my whole mid section elbows and a knee so I’ll be pretty uncomfortable for the next couple of weeks.
But I’m still here alive and kicking and will definately consider this one of my 9 lives.
