This creation of mine was inspired by amazing Photographer Haze Kware, who thrives in but not limited to the Performing Arts world of Photography. I am a fan! I spent 4 hours rendering the elements of this photo. It all started with an idea of a never ending hallway. My goal was to show my love, gratitude, and also my respect for the Performing Arts in a way that’s never been seen before. But, you can be the judge of that.

“High-end retouching is all about keeping details and texture intact in an image so that it looks as natural as possible. Making sure the picture looks unretouched but polished is a matter of patience and wise choices in retouching techniques. ... Retouching is often seen as the evil part of the photography industry.”

This process can take hours and even days per image depending on the photographer. This process cannot be done on any phone or any app by any amateur. Most photographers hate this process and even avoid it all together, but not me! I actually enjoy this process even if I’m at it for a few days. It’s worth it in my opinion! It takes a very high level of skill and technique.
