Hotel Mud Bug 🌵
One of the historic buildings at Paramount Ranch that was unfortunately destroyed nearly 4 years ago in the Woolsey Fire. This old west studio set had been used for everything from movies to tv shows and as (one of my personal favorites) the location for the Eagles’ Desperado photoshoot and promotional video by Henry Diltz. Coincidentally that album by the Eagles was released on this day 49 years ago!
It is said that they will be rebuilding Paramount Ranch to its former glory, but as of now all that remains is the church (the newest building on the lot) and the train station. I’m grateful I got to see this place at least once, but what a devastating loss this was.
