Horseshoe Bend, 馬蹄灣是在大峽谷國家公園前往羚羊谷的方向，是由科羅拉多河切割河道而形成馬蹄形的彎道，這裡壯觀的河谷非常有名，也經常出現在明信片中，沒來過應該來打卡一下。 它管理良好且乾淨，是科羅拉多河最壯觀的景色之一。 當您在懸崖邊緣時請務必注意您的腳步，有大部分的懸崖是沒欄杆保護的，別離邊緣太近，怕危險的人可以選擇欄杆保護的地方站立。

峽谷地是猶他州最大的國家公園。 它跟拱門國家公園(Arches National Park)和死馬點州立公園(Dead Horse Point State Park)很靠近，建議旅程規劃可以三個公園一起玩，至少我是這樣的（當然不是同一天跑三個）。 正如公園名字所描述的，在這裡你可以看到很多峽谷。 其中一些看起來像地面上的一個巨大缺口，或者是由地震造成的龐大裂痕，某些角度看起來看電影場景，很壯觀，雖然我去的時侯是陰天又下雨，但有些照片看起來還是很棒。 這裡獨特的峽谷地方與大峽谷國家公園的峽谷不大一樣，各有千秋。 但都令人嘆為觀止，值得花時間慢慢體會。 我認為這裡最受歡迎的打卡地點會是 Mesa Arch，要走一段步道就是了。 很多人來這裡看日出和拱門合影，拍下日出從拱門冒出的第一道署光，不過我沒有在黎明前到達，如果有機會再說吧。還有遊客中心附近你會看到很多彎道彎來彎去往峽谷下方，這邊看下去也很壯觀，不要錯過了，不過要開車下去應該要 4WD 的車子才行，一般車子跟我一樣在上面看吧。

Canyonlands is the largest national park in Utah. It's near the Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park. I visited three parks in one trip(not on the same day), and I recommend you to do the same too. As the name descript it, here you can see lots of canyons. Some of them look like a giant gap on the ground or were created by an earthquake(just descript, not really made by an earthquake). The unique shape makes it different from Grand Canyon N.P. But all of them are breathtaking and worth spending your time on. I assume the most popular check-in place on social media is Mesa Arch. A lot of people come here to see the sunrise and take a picture of the sun with the arch, I didn't make it before dawn, maybe next time if I have a chance.

這個燈塔位於 San Francisco 西南方, 在 1 號公路上往 Santa Cruz 的方向(由 San Francisco 出發的話)。 如果您計劃在 1 號公路上進行公路旅行，這很值得加在行程清單上。 據說這是美國西海岸最高的燈塔。 不僅燈塔優美，它所在的公園叫做 Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park ，這裡和 1 號公路上的其他景點一樣美麗，湛藍的天空和深藍色的海洋不會讓你失望的。

Pigeon Point Lighthouse is located between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. If you're planning a road trip on Route 1, this should be on your visit list. They say it's the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast of the United States. Not only is the lighthouse beautiful, the park it is in called Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park, is as beautiful as other visit points on Route 1. You won't be disappointed with the iris sky and deep blue ocean.

位於舊金山北方的一個歷史性燈塔, 目前已退役, 天氣好時這燈塔可以拍出像明信片般的好看照片, 白色燈塔, 紅色屋頂, 搭配碧海藍天不止照片漂亮, 心情也會跟著開朗.

根據網站說明, 燈塔本體有時會開放民眾走下去, 條件是天氣晴朗且風速低於 40 mph(為安全考量), 不然只能在上面遠觀.; 早期這附近常因視線不好發生船難, 所以建了這燈塔來指引船隻, 歷史悠久的 Point Reyes 燈塔建於 1870 年, 服務了 105 年, 於 1975 年退役.

Point Reyes Lighthouse is located on the north side of San Francisco. The historic Point Reyes Lighthouse was built in 1870 to warn mariners of this navigational hazard and served for 105 years. The Point Reyes Lighthouse was retired from service in 1975.

Point Reyes Shipwrecks (又名 Tomales Bay Shipwreck), 這是位於舊金山北方的一個歷史景點, 它代表的是西洋 1800 年代這地區海上航行的風險, 當時 Point Reyes 是船隻往來常經的地點, 但因海象總有不佳的時候, 因此經常有船隻觸礁在外海或是再往內的 Tomales Bay 沿岸, 直到 1870 年 Point Reyes Lighthouse 建立後狀況才有改善. 這船因為觸礁在比較靠內陸的 Tomales Bay 而不是外海, 沒受太多的海浪侵襲, 因此船體在這麼多年後仍得以保存一定的樣貌. 船隻是條捕魚船, 沒有太多的故事在船隻本身.
雖然是個小景點, 但拍起來還蠻好拍的, 某些角度看起來像幅畫; 你也可以試試黑白照片加強對比, 效果也不錯, 可以呈現歷史景點的滄桑氛圍.

Point Reyes Shipwrecks is located in Tomales Bay in Marin County, which is on the north side of San Francisco. It represents the dangers of 1880s sailing in the Point Reyes and Tomales Bay. The situation turns better after the Point Reyes Lighthouse built in 1870.

Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah.

這裡最重著名的景點就是那個科羅拉多河急轉彎切出來的 Dead Horse Point, 180 度迥轉的河谷, 聽說從某個角度看像一匹死馬躺在那裡, 但我沒找到那個觀賞點 ; 另外這邊還有一個特色, 你如果注意山谷, 你會發現山谷中有一些閃亮的藍色池子, 那是採礦池, 用曝曬法來曬乾水份取得礦物結晶, 他們的採礦方式是先把水注入地底下的礦物層, 待礦物溶解於水中再抽出來地表曝曬取得礦物結晶, 藍色的部份則是後來加入的添加物, 用來加速礦池的水份蒸發.

南加州看星星的首選, Joshua Tree National Park!

Joshua Tree National Park, is the best place to see the starry night, milky way, and meteors in South California. Low light pollution and not that far away from LA, around 2 and half hours by driving. If I want to shoot the milky way, this place is my first choice.

Sequoia National Park, California. Summer is the best season to see the night sky, and this park is absolutely a good place for it in Central California.

Arches National Park, 這裡是美國最多拱門形狀石頭的國家公園, 幾乎所有拱門都是要走一段路才能到, 所以準備一雙舒服的登山鞋吧, 你需走整天的路才能看盡各個拱形石門的風采, 列舉一些知名拱門供參考: Double Arch, North Window Arch, Turret Arch, Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Double O Arch, Private Arch 等等; 另外, 夜晚時侯這裡也是觀賞星星、銀河、以及流星的好地方; 這公園很熱門, 有時園方會要求要先預約才能入園, 請先拜訪官方網站查詢最新規定.
