I’ve known Max since he was a newborn. So it was extra special when I got to photograph his high school senior photos. Shot back where it all started, in the woods near home, with his love of basketball, some creative light and that unmistakable red hair. Max, you’re going to big places!

These 3 images were selected from the marketing agency from the full gallery, with one to be featured as the hero image for the testimonial campaign.

Congratulations to Alana & Noah!

January in Manhattan Beach, warm air and wide open sky. The moment she stepped onto the sand and saw the glam picnic set up waiting for her, with Noah standing beside it, she knew. That instant when anticipation turns into certainty is electric.

She had no idea I was there. I was tucked behind a lifeguard tower, camera ready, while she was completely locked in on him and the question he was about to ask. He dropped to one knee, she said yes, and for those few minutes nothing else existed!

Afterward, I stepped out from my hiding spot and introduced myself and we rolled right into a sunset photo session along the shoreline.

Then came the second surprise. Friends and family stepped forward, having flown in from the East Coast to witness it all. What began as a quiet, intimate proposal unfolded into a full beachside celebration, with golden light closing out a day none of us will forget. 🌅 💍 🤍

My dearest friend, Inti, married her sweetie Blaine and it was a heart-bursting celebration —— endless dancing, Oaxacan traditions and surprises around every corner and so much love. I was there as a guest, but of course I couldn’t resist sneaking a few photos 😉
