THE 40/40 PROJECT IS BACK!!!

It seems that woman over the age of 40 really want to be seen and heard!!! For the past two years I have dedicated part of my time in the studio to photographing women over the age of 40 and sharing their stories trough a magazine and a galley exhibit. This experience has been truly transformative. One session was not enough and I still receive emails from women who wish to be included. It seems we started a revolution!

IT’S OFFICIAL THE 40/40 PROJECT IS BACK!!!

There won’t be a selection process this time. Sessions will be booked on a firs come first served basis and only 40 spots are available. If you want to save your spot go to the link in bio. I can’t wait to hear your story and document this time in your life with magazine cover worthy portraits.

On January 29th we came together to celebrate the 40/40 Project that has been a year in the making. We had laughs and some cries and great conversations. The evening had a great turnout with awesome food and drinks and beautiful florals. Thank you to Brian Morri for capturing the event. Special thanks to Dayna Riesgo and Westley Thornton without whom this evening wouldn't have been possible.

I am so excited to finally be able to share this incredible project. Back in August, I was honored to receive an award at WPPI to produce and photograph concepts for the Pro Prints billboard project to celebrate professional photographers.

This is the first of 4 different images to be featured in Los Angeles.

The past couple of months have hit me hard.
I needed to step away.

Passing of a dear friend’s loved one in a horrific way is devastating and my heart breaks for her.

Learning of a family members brutal diagnosis has compounded to my paralysis. No one saw it coming and we must stay hopeful and positive.

Winning an award for an incredible project that consumed whatever was left of my head space seems trivial and unimportant. And yet, it means so much.

It is painful and difficult to hold. Here we are, human in all its beauty and pain and in the end, all we have left is memories…
