I’m an advocate for artists having every tool available to express themselves, now and in the future. If you’re curious, skeptical, or freaked out about the robots, this class is for you. 🔮✨

This fall, I’m teaching Photography and AI Image Creation at UCLA Extension. We’ll build a body of work while exploring AI as a creative tool — and digging into the complicated questions around authorship, copyright, representation, politics, and environmental impact.

AI isn’t going away. I believe empowering ourselves through knowledge is the way through it.

Sometimes following a creative impulse feels a little like giving in to insanity. No one is asking you to do this. No one necessarily cares. There’s no guarantee the thing in your head will even work.

But I know by now that pushing through that feeling—making the work anyway, and bringing the thing I can see in my head into the world—is kind of the point.

So that’s where I’m at. An artist. Unapologetic and proud of the life I’ve built around making things.
