David Mao Photography SF based photo enthusiast. IG: https://www.instagram.com/itsdavo/ Hello! My name is David Mao. I developed my love for photography from a young age.

I graduated with a Computer Science degree from UCLA in 2014, and am currently doing software development in Seattle. Some of my hobbies include playing sports, making music, and engaging in other outdoor activities. I enjoy playing soccer, running, biking, hiking, snowboarding, camping, suiting up, and the occasional mixed martial arts. I grew up in a family that appreciated the outdoors, and we

would often go camping, hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, etc. On these trips, I found myself looking for a way to capture the incredible views that I saw; this is how I picked up photography, and I was always in possession of the family camera. I purchased my first DSLR, my Canon 550D, in August of 2011, and though it has not been too long since then, I have always taken advantage of opportunities to practice, experiment, and improve my abilities.
