New camera, new chapter! 📷

It's been a while since I've added anything here, but I've been busy getting to grips with my new OM System OM-5 Mark II. I've been shooting macro for a while now, and I have to say this camera paired with the M.Zuiko 60mm Macro lens is a serious step up, it's great to see what a dedicated setup can really bring to the kind of work I love doing.
The plan was to hunt down some bugs in the garden, but nature had other ideas, there's not a creepy crawly in sight just yet! So in the meantime, the flowers had to step up and be my subjects, and honestly, they did a pretty good job.
Worth mentioning that all of these shots are completely handheld, no tripod in sight! If you know macro photography, you'll know that's no small thing, and the stabilisation on the OM-5 Mark II has been nothing short of impressive in making that possible.
These are some of my first shots with the new setup, so bear with me while I get fully dialled in, but I'm already blown away by what it can do. More to come, and fingers crossed the bugs show up soon!
