Iām a 36-year-old seƱora who runs on cafecito and a little chisme. āļø
I joke that Iām living my seƱora era, but really it just means Iāve fallen in love with the simple things. Decorating our home, deep cleaning on a Saturday morning, caring for my plants, collecting vinyls, and creating a space that feels warm, peaceful, and lived in. Itās the kind of life my younger self wouldāve called āboring,ā but now I realize itās exactly the life I always wanted.
This room is my happy place. The sunlight pours in all afternoon, my plants absolutely thrive here (I have 45 indoor and outdoor plantsā¦ and yes, most of them have names šæ), and somehow every editing marathons and weddings feels a little cozier because of it.
If youāve ever emailed me, received your gallery, or watched me work behind the scenes, thereās a good chance Quest and Tribe have been asleep by my side the entire time. Theyāre the worldās cutest coworkers.
One of my favorite things about this room is that so much of it has come from my clients. Little gifts over the years have found a home on these shelves.
My husband, Michael Flores Jr., and I spend a lot of late nights in this office together. It may be where the work gets done, but itās also one of our favorite rooms in the house because we built it together, one plant, one shelf, and one memory at a time.
