Happy Pride! Over the weekend I had the opportunity to join in on the Mayor's LGBTQ Garden Party. I couldn't resist bringing my camera!

I had a wonderful afternoon at the 2nd Los Angeles Mayor's LGBTQ Garden Party. It's an annual fundraiser that kicks up the month of Pride. Happy Pride!

A wedding isn't just your wedding day. As a photographer, I love process. For Emily and Sam's wedding, our collaboration began with the making of her dress. Emily had her dress custom made by designer and friend, Andrae Gonzalo, using the lace of her mother's wedding dress.

Weddings begin far before the big day. For Emily & Sam's wedding, I was lucky to be part of the process early on. She wanted her dress to DIY designed, constructed using the lace from her mother's wedding dress. Over the next few days, I'll be posting the film photographs of the unique process.
