6 years ago my best friend introduced me to their Pastor, & I fumbled to introduce myself & said "What's up dad!"

6 years later it's amazing how that same man had fathered me & pastored me in my life.

Happy birthday .jr, thank you for always being there for me & raising me as one of your own. I'm beyond words to explain how grateful I am that God gave me a Pastor like you to guide me into the Christ-led man I am today.

Thank you for building the family we call that I get to call home.

I've been around for 21 years of your life but in all those years you've been a blessing in my life & many more.

Thank you for loving me & supporting me, even when at times it was hard to do so. You are the first to show me & teach me how to love unconditionally.

I want to appreciate all the times you've given nicknames for us, the times that you go out of your way to send gifts to friends & family—including mines, enduring the most challenging seasons in your life while also raising me.
