My Marina, Precious Pumpkin. The light and love of my life. Gift from the universe. Emerald-eyed baby. My sunny, caramel girl. I loved you from before I saw you, and since I did, I’ve been shamelessly in love with you, loving you more than I ever thought it was possible to love, with all the love in the universe, and then some. So perfect, more than I could have ever dreamed of. In everything, you were so you. Smart, strategic, fierce, independent, loving, affectionate, caring, loyal, involved, considerate, wise, attuned. You were my pillar, queen of the house, the strong one. A whole universe, worth anything and everything. In a 10 lbs body, you were there for me more than any human. You were there for all my jobs, relationships, successes and pains. As we grew together, you somehow carried all my experiences of adult life shoulder to shoulder, rising up to what so many don’t. You tracked life and proactively cared in your own ways. My closest being, we knew each other inside and out. You made me a being and a mom. You taught me how to love unconditionally, to think beyond myself, to understand without words, to advocate and make the best decisions for someone who can’t. Every look, scent, sound, hair, touch of you has been precious to me and honey to my soul. No one ever made me feel as loved as you. All of me is forever yours, and you are forever mine. I’m your mommy, and you’re my baby. The first time life ever felt beautiful and magical was when you came into it, and it was wonderful because you existed. When we’d snuggle, the world would fall away, and nothing else mattered, because you were there, and it was blissful. I never felt effort or ache when it was for you. It’s been the most meaningful thing of my life being your mom, and everything else distantly pales in comparison. I loved every second of taking care of you, and I can’t wait to one day be in the same dimension as you and do it again, forever. Like we used to say, I love you for always and ever, into infinity and beyond, endlessly and indefinitely. I promise one day, I’ll find you again. 4/21/2010 - 7/22/2026
