How to train your rancor - Part 1

Gollum, from NECA, is easily one of my top 5 toys! The sculpt and paint are next level.
Several years ago Gollum began making appearances in my images as Six Gun Gollum, a grizzled cowboy wrangling rancows on the plains of a far west galaxy. His cowboy duds are from a toy I still have from my childhood - a Johnny West 1:6 scale action figure from Marx Toys.

The rancow (rancor), from Hasbro, has made it into a surprising amount of my images. So many fun stories with this guy. At over 2 pounds it’s one of my largest toys.
There are a number of ways to suspend a large heavy toy in the air. I went with wooden skewers that I cut to size and just placed the toy on. It was fast, easy and the rancow was surprisingly stable.

Bouquet Toss 🥀
Before shooting toys I used to shoot weddings - I’ve seen a lot of bouquet tosses. Never by the groom though, until now 😂! The song I used was the most popular bouquet toss song at the time.
