a little life lately ~ tropical colors, warm rain, sandy beaches, tiny hands, and so many mango trees. turns out motherhood and moving to a tropical climate will completely rewire my brain.

slowly settling into a new rhythm of seasonal living between florida and maine and honestly, it feels really good.

i’ve also been feeling the pull to make things again for the first time in a while.

2025 was the hardest most rewarding year of my life. I became Solène’s mother, and in the process, life was stripped down to what’s most real.

I learned that softness is a form of strength.
That some days you lead, and some days you let yourself be carried.

Her joy roots me in the present.
Home becomes the warmth she recognizes before she understands why.

You stop searching for answers outside yourself.
Your body already knows, you just have to listen.

Creating a life of my own doesn’t compete with motherhood.
It nourishes it.

Somehow, the chaos finds its shape, not because life gets easier, but because you do.

I enter 2026 softer, quieter, and more myself.
Still becoming. Rooted in what feels true.
