I looked up, hoping the heavens would explain why love can feel so close, yet so unreachable. The clouds drifted without asking permission, while my heart remained where you left it—waiting, hoping, refusing to move.
This old roof has weathered countless seasons. It creaked through rain, endured relentless sun, and still chose to stand. Maybe love is like that—not perfect, not untouched, but quietly fighting to remain whole despite every crack.
If you ever wonder where you’ll find me, look between the silence and the sky. I’ll be there, loving you in ways words could never fully carry, praying that one day, the distance between us will be nothing more than a memory.
