So excited for this beautiful session photographed in my hometown of Houston! Lydia and Ching's engagement session at this part of Hobby Airport was so amazing especially as someone who loves to travel! This is just half of their session, we only had a little over an hour to shoot here at the airport but the photos we got here are definitely share worthy! Check them out! Do you miss traveling? Now that weddings are a lot smaller with less people I’m also able to capture a lot more emotion even though there’s less people. Also I can focus more my attention on the people who matter more. The people who are at intimate weddings are also the people that matter most, and in this wedding it’s the family! And both of their families are really close so having a wedding filled with so many emotions would be expected! I’m so happy to be able to be there to capture all of them!

First time ever!

Many may not know that I've been photographing couples for 15 years. Yeah, it's a long time. I can confidently say that I'm comfortable with operating a camera and knowing how to get the shots that I want to get, but sometime during the 15 years I know that I've lost a lot of my creativity that I had when I first started. Naturally I was a lot more curious and experimental when I first started because I was unsure of what was good and what wasn't. I definitely wasn't afraid to try new things. Not that I'm afraid to try new things now, I just usually stick with what I know and I know as an artist I should be pushing myself every single time. During this covid era I'm now able to reexamine what I'm doing in my craft and what drives me. I'm happy to say that I'm now in a sense where I first started again. That means that I am experimenting with creativity again. And let me tell you, it feels amazing! This session was awesome! More to come!

I'm very excited and honored to share this session of one of my dearest friends who is also one of the greatest persons I've ever met. The photos are amazing because my friends radiate with so much joy and happiness. I'm so grateful to have them in my life and to have been able to capture such beautiful photos of them.
