Finally packed and ready to go! Could not have been as efficient (that’s a lot of stuff!) without my twin Airport Security roll-aboard cases! What you’re not seeing is that each case is also hiding an One strobe (when you’re shooting overseas, always bring a spare!). Amazing cases and as you see, they hold a ton! Oh - you’re also not seeing my ShapeShifter which is carrying my drone, MacBook Pro, and iPad! Tripod, heads, modifier, and light stand will be in my suitcase. Looking forward to an awesome two weeks of shooting for different clients!

An update to a previous post about Hotel Desierto Azul Baja with more photos. This is the super-cool .azul.baja. Four beautiful modern rooms set in a cactus garden which is an 8-minute walk from one of the most beautiful - and uncrowded - Pacific beaches we've ever seen. The owners - Fabrizio and his wife Nuli - have also also built the area's only gluten-free bakery and cafe next door and it rocks! And Jose and Manuel are the best! .azul.baja

Another one of the five wonderful small hotels we recently stayed at for for our upcoming article about - well - really cool small hotels in Todos Santos. This is the utterly charming three-room Casa Blanco Madera - made more so by the on-site presence of one of the co-owners, Daniel. We fell in love with him as much as we did the hotel! The room was sumptuous and comfy with so many thoughtful ideas like huge sliding shutters (instead of blackout curtains) that covered the doors to keep out the light at night but let the cool evening breeze in. Each villa has its own rooftop deck that's perfect for sunsets and, as Joan can attest to, yoga. And with only three rooms, it's super-quiet and peaceful. Like many of these small boutique hotels, it's not on the beach but only a short walk from miles and miles of gorgeous white sand almost completely devoid of people.

Another hotel on our 8-night / 6-hotel adventure in Todos Santos for . This one is the beyond-incredible . To say we were blown away would be putting it lightly! The location - right on the beach - is unparalleled. The staff were flawless as was the overall vibe. Room - wonderful. Food - outrageously good. Even the music playlist was great. Kind of running out of adjectives but suffice it to say that we'd love to go back!

Photographing and co-writing another piece for . We're at the incredible in Todos Santos and had a blast of a day shooting Chef Jorge's food! And - well - we're suckers for cheesecake! As always, a huge thanks to , , and ! ,
