who said maternity sessions can’t be both dreamy 𝘢𝘯𝘥 epic? who said maternity sessions had to be just about the bump? who said they couldn’t feel like an adventure: fun, magical, and a little poetic? who said you can’t play with different elements at your session? who said fashion doesn’t play a role (a big one, actually) in a motherhood session? who said you can’t feel sexy as hell while carrying your precious child? who said maternity is just a box to check and move on from?

i don’t know who said any of that, but what i do know is that your session should capture the full beauty of this season. dreamy and epic. fun and intentional. caring about the details because you want something that actually feels like you.

wanting something different isn’t just okay, it’s honestly where i do my best work. so bring me your wildest ideas. i won’t laugh, i promise. quite the opposite, actually; i’ll probably spend the next however-long obsessing over every detail, finding a way to bring it to life and helping you create the imagery you’ve been dreaming of 😌☺️🤗🤩

one thing i know how to do: add drama to any shoot. it’s one of my fav things to do and there are so many different ways to bring the drama in… black and white? check. up close and in your face? check. wide shots, showing the entire tale… check. let’s do a spin and slow it down, check! but my fav of this set is how my bride paid homage to her mother by wearing her wedding veil for some shots. a stunning piece, and a beautiful gesture to commemorate someone so special 🥹🤍
