You can't see, as they're out of frame, but to the left there was a crowd who stopped checking out the sunset to enjoy this comedic moment.

You can never plan for the unexpected. Take this shot, for instance. How could I have planned for the wind, presumably, taking part of this down?

To injury to insult, they were up there "fixing" something. But after 2 hours of waiting, and making zero visible progress (and not to mention the coyote lurking on my set-up), I finally called it a night.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll take another stab at it before it's permanently taken down.

As a first time visitor, I had a bit of sensory overload. Or maybe I was just on the verge of having a heat stroke. Regardless of what might have taken my breath away, I enjoyed the time spent out there. From the amazing views you get during sun up to the nice cool breeze you get sun down.

What are the odds of this? Was headed up there already, to take some shkys, when I noticed dark smoke within the hills of . Saw a circling above but didn't imagine I'd be treated to this up close encounter...

Wow! This morning's was absolutely stunning. I had just gone to bed when I noticed a pinkish glow taking over the bedroom.

It was pretty noticeable. So much so that I cracked open the curtains and saw some amazing colors.

Needless to say I hoped out of bed as fast as I could, ran straight for the camera, and damn near stepped out in my birthday suit to capture some shots.
