Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with a team of talented black women who brought their skills in hair, makeup, styling, and modeling to life. 📸

It was an amazing experience filled with good energy, good vibes, great skills and teamwork. 💪🏾

In a season where things may be slowing down, I’d say now is the perfect time to try something new.

I loved this shoot and the team and it was a nice reminder of the magic that happens when passionate individuals come together to make art. 🎨

Honestly, what’s probably holding you back is that you won’t shoot your shot.

—

You wait for people to find you to book a service. You don’t reach out and put yourself out there.

You’re so used to marketing on one channel and don’t put the energy into expanding elsewhere. Sales are stagnant, but your comfortable sticking to what you “know”

You want to work with someone but scared they may not work within your budget/idea/etc.

Closed mouths don’t get fed. You gotta shoot your shot. Especially in these times.

This is just a little reminder that you may be real close to getting something you want.

Send the email. Try the thing. Ask the question.
