Moments with the bride and her circle of women.

Her sister, her mom, her soon-to-be mother- and sister-in-law, and the women who have shaped her throughout her life.

That’s what I find so sacred about this particular part of a wedding day. The five+ (let’s be real, women take time to get ready — and enjoy it) hours of hair and makeup, anticipatory lattes and a light lunch, the dress, earrings, and veil so carefully chosen.

All of it leading up to the epicenter of the day: the ceremony.

These moments hold such a particular and sacred energy. Lindsay, you are a radiant bride, and your kindness and elegance swept through every moment of the day.

More to come…

⏩ Swipe for 7 things you should know about me as a wedding photographer…

I know trust is earned; this is why I take the time to get to know my couples. I date my clients so that on your wedding day you can surrender and have one less thing to worry about.

“Rachel was a part of our day in the best possible way. She was at all the right moments, and at the times I was nervous during our portraits, she was able to bring me back to the moment and reflect back to me the love that got us here. She has a gift for seeing people and knowing what to do and say to ground them in the moment so that even the “posed” photos of the day don’t just feel natural; they are natural.” - KD

Capturing the story and the memory of someone’s wedding is an art that I’m endlessly grateful to be part of. It’s an honor to witness someone’s most meaningful moments. From “will you marry me” to “I do”, and every ordinary and unforgettable moment in between.

Hi, I’m Rachel. Keeper of memories, storyteller, and fine art wedding photographer based in Malibu & LA.

Getting to know the couples I photograph is one of the greatest gifts of this work. It has never been just a photoshoot. It’s a front row seat to people who love each other. It’s an adventure. A journey through memories, keepsakes, family history, and love. My job is to learn about your love, and send you back the captures.

I think of it as being a third wheel your wedding. I’ll be there for all the laughter, the joy, the grief, the make out session. It’s important to me that we get to know each other.  Shooting your engagement is always a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and prepare for your wedding day.

When I photograph a wedding, I’m capturing a moment in time that carries every moment that came before it. The laughter. The tears. The long conversations. Every time you chose each other, again and again, until this day became possible.

One thing I’ve become more and more passionate about? Meeting my couples at their venue before the wedding day (when possible).

Especially when I didn’t shoot their engagement session—it gives us a chance to connect in person, get a few test shots in, and for them to get comfortable in front of my camera before the big day. We get to walk the space together, map out where these sacred moments will unfold, and step into it all with so much more ease and intention.

And honestly… you never know what magic might happen. ;)

So excited to photograph J&L in just a few short weeks!

Sneak peeks from S&C’s Beverly Hills wedding. The sunshine, intimacy, and family and friends who traveled from across the globe to bless these two into their marriage were simply inspiring to witness.

What I often want to say is: I can’t put it into words, so here are the photos.

The sacredness of this love, this family, and this place was palpable. Can you feel it??

There was a theme that felt undeniable about this wedding—

a deep love of tradition, and a deep love of children.

The blessing of these two rabbis coming together to commit their lives to one another felt like a swelling of community. A quiet mantra of belonging—of sharing generational joy, of telling stories in songs pased down through lingeage.

Congratulations E&M!
