Dunsmoor Restaurant in Eagle Rock.
Just over a year prior to the dinner party of their dreams, on an especially rainy day, I went with Julie and Adam to the Beverly Hills Courthouse to photograph their civil ceremony. The following year they hosted their family and friends from around the world to their favorite restaurant, Dunsmoor, to celebrate their marriage in what I will consider the greatest meal of all time. Wine and caviar flowed into a multi course family style dinner which then found its way to plates of dessert and of course, more wine.
One of my most favorite moments was right before dinner’s first course was served, since no one was able to hear their vows at their civil ceremony, Julie and Adam prepared their own to share for the first time in front of everyone. They stood at their seats and shared those vows before dinner was served.

As I close out 2025 and walk into 2026, I’m reflecting on a few of the events I captured throughout the year. To everyone I was able to photograph this year, thank you for choosing me to be the one to commemorate your life moments.
Pictured above: Danielle and Jonathan celebrated their wedding at Rosewood Miramar Beach Club and it was every bit as beautiful as it was special to them. With subtle nods to their mutual profession as doctors on their custom Rx seating chart to cascading florals in every color brightening up each room, their celebration was a very memorable one.

Yesterday, I shared some photos from Antarctica with some of my tools I use to capture the feeling of a space. I wanted to share how many (and some other) tools in that set are used by myself to help bring a wedding day to life.
Sharing these tools with one singular wedding to show how using all of these elements across a day creates an artful representation of the day.

Antarctica was trip of a lifetime, especially for a photographer. It was beautiful, vast, wild, and peaceful. Immediately, as I began to document our time on the Great White Continent, I was drawn to ensuring I captured the experience of this voyage just as much as the settings we witnessed. To me, documenting the zodiac embarkations, wet landings, dirt covered boots, and snow crusted coats was just as important as the gentoo penguins, whale flukes, avalanches, and penguin highways.
As a photographer, I pride myself on being able to capture what it felt like to be somewhere, not just what it looked like. Here are some of my favorite ways to do so, with Antarctica examples. It was so hard to showcase just a handful of photos each day, and even harder to narrow it down for this post.

Happy three years of marriage to us (and five years together)!
In our relationship’s duration we have done and seen a number of things, we have survived horrible moments and celebrated beautiful wins. We often joke we have lived many lifetimes in the short time we have had together so far, but in every life I choose you.
Mark, you are my every laugh and smile, my joy and my safety. There is no one I’d rather go through the roller coaster of life with except you. I love you, I love you, I love you. You teach me how to be gentle, and I hope I teach you to be bold. You’re my perfect partner whom I get to share this life and find wonder with.
No matter where we live you make it our home by just being there. I hope I can make a home for us to come back to again one day.
I have a hope, that this time next year on our fourth wedding anniversary, we will stand in our living room of our finished house and get to reshare our vows that were burnt in the fires. Like we did on our wedding day, we will frame those vows and hang them on the wall as a daily reminder of the love we share. Until then, may this third year be filled with love, care, smiles, happiness, and hope for all that is to come 🧡

Julie and Adam!!!!!! If my excitement was measured in tiers of cake, this celebration was no less than three tiers!
Last year I captured their civil ceremony at the courthouse and this year their family and friends traveled far and wide to celebrate their marriage at Julie and Adam’s favorite restaurant, Dunsmoor in Eagle Rock. The evening flowed from the wine bar to the restaurant and back again as the menu and wine list was dished from room to room, served alongside some truly heartfelt speeches.
Since they had a courthouse wedding, Julie and Adam weren’t able to exchange personal vows when they tied the knot, so here at their wedding reception with their family and friends, they shared their personal vows in front of everyone before breaking bread.
I have a special kind of love for long dinners and the love of sharing food, so this one spoke to every love language in my heart.
One of my favorite details of the day was that Julie changed into a mini dress for desserts and dancing, but what you might not have known was that mini dress was the one she wore to the courthouse and married Adam in to begin with.
Three cheers for Julie and Adam! The best way you can celebrate them is to go enjoy dinner at their favorite spot, Dunsmoor - you won regret it!

The Madonna Inn, a perfectly vibrant, maximalist, kitsch in all the best ways imaginable hotel tucked into the Central Coast of California.
Three years and three weddings here and each one have been such sweet celebrations. The fun, the lightheartedness, the excitement, and the VIBES have been off the charts. Last month, Tegan and Bradley brought out their families to SLO for their celebration and it was a day that could best be described as “pretty in pink.” Literally - everything was pink! Everyone wore pink or shades of it (including myself) to honor Tegan’s favorite color. Filled with vintage nostalgia, this was such a special day to witness and photograph.
So many congratulations to Tegan and Bradley!
