After 12 amazing years, I’m making my final trip to Houston!

October 23–25 will be my last annual Houston visit, and I want to make it count.

For the past 18 years, I’ve been incredibly blessed to photograph so many beautiful Houston families, seniors, individuals, relationships, and milestones. Even after moving to California 12 years ago, Houston has always had a special place in my heart, and I’m so grateful for every client who trusted me with their memories.

Some wedding days are beautiful, some are joyful, and then there are the days where joy fills every moment from beginning to end - Emma & Micah’s wedding was one of those days.

There was laughter, happy tears, heartfelt prayers, and so much celebration surrounding these two. Every part of the day reflected the deep love they share in the Lord and the incredible community cheering them on.

It was an honor to witness and document the beginning of this new chapter. Emma & Micah, may your marriage continue to be marked by the same joy, grace, and love that filled your wedding day.

The last five years at Talbot School of Theology have been a massive privilege, and it is so bittersweet that it’s over. The Lord used the Institute of Spiritual Formation, the professors, and community in powerful ways to shape my heart and mind and prepare me for new ministry. I am so very grateful.

My friend, Eric, told me when I began that it would be like pressing against a mountain, and one day the mountain would be gone. It feels just like that. I asked Eric what happens when the mountain moves. He said, “There’s always another mountain.”

Here’s to the mountains, the good God who created them, and the people who help us push against them.

Celebrating this college senior felt like capturing pure joy - her enthusiasm, her heart, and the way she lights up every space she walks into. It’s been such a gift to watch her grow, and I have no doubt she’s going to step into this next chapter and make a meaningful difference in the world.

These turning points matter, and it’s such a privilege to capture them for clients. It’s the deep breaths before what’s next, the excitement of all that’s been accomplished.

Some sessions feel extra special, and this one is full of years of memories 💛

I’ve had the joy of photographing this family as they’ve grown, and getting to capture them all together - grandparents, kids, and grandkids - felt like such a gift. There’s something so meaningful about pressing pause on a season like this… the laughter, the connection, the generations all in one frame.

Photos like these aren’t just for now. They become part of your family’s story - the kind you pass down, revisit, and treasure more with each passing year.
