After a long long time...

Gram Blue butterfly mating

Made this photo using Samsung Galaxy S21 camera. I didn't have my usual macro photography gear with me when I spotted this, hence tried with my phone camera. The bokeh is not so good (as expected), otherwise of acceptable quality, I guess.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of Canon's recent release 5D mk IV is that a photographer would have the freedom to micro-adjust the focus in post processing while using a dual-pixel raw image file. In my understanding, the two parts of a dual pixel (that are separated by a micron or so) capture the same subject from a slightly varied angles, providing a stereoscopic (3D) capture, though with very shallow depth. In post processing one would then have the freedom to adjust focus within that depth. Obviously the effectiveness of this feature would depend on the aperture used to capture the image.
