Oh hey there! Long time no see right? I suppose it time for me to reintroduce myself since I’m exceptionally bad at keeping up on my business social media. My name is Ciara, I am a lover of romance novels, a sweet fiend, Disney addict, mother to three crazy littles, wife to my best friend, and lover of the arts. I started dabbling in photography my senior year of high school when one of my favorite teachers from my journalism class put a camera in my hands. From there all bets were off, I was so curious about all of the different functions and what everything meant on how to capture a truly interesting image. When thinking about starting a photography business I was instantly reminded of how my senior year my mother took pictures of me for my Graduation announcements on my iPad. Yes my iPad. For most graduation/senior sessions at the time prices began at $1K and that wasn’t including the cost of prints or buying a few digital images to keep forever. For my mother who was single mom with 2 kiddos she was supporting by herself there was no way we’d ever be able to afford that. With the thought in mind that I wanted to provide affordable photography to those who might not otherwise be able to afford it I started learning all I could through the internet about photography. And when I felt confident enough behind a camera I started asking everyone I knew if they would model for me. I’ve lost myself in motherhood for some time now, but 7 years later I’m back and ready to capture a million moments in time again. Thanks to those who have constantly pushed me to get back to this, I promise I’ll try to share what I’ve been capturing while I hang out behind my lens 😘
