To everyone who has ever said, “You take too many pictures…”

I’ve never once heard someone say, “I wish we had fewer photos of Dad.”

Photographs become priceless the longer we have them. What feels like an ordinary moment today becomes a treasured memory tomorrow. The laugh you didn’t think twice about. The family dinner. The hug goodbye. The way they looked at you when they thought no one was watching.

Time moves fast. Faster than we realize. Photos are one of the few things that allow us to hold onto the people, moments, and stories that shape our lives. They become our reminders, our connection to the past, and sometimes our greatest comfort.

This photo of my dad means more to me now than it ever did when I pressed the shutter. A random Sunday at my brother’s adult flag football game. My parents always showed up. I was shooting B&W Film. Such a fond memory.

Take the picture. Get in the frame. Document the ordinary. Capture the people you love.

Because one day, those photographs will be more than images. They’ll be memories, legacies, and pieces of a life that continue to tell a story long after we’re gone. I will forever take way too many photos!
