When I’m not at sessions, you can usually find me on the football or softball field… well, at least in the fall. 😂

One of my absolute favorite things to photograph is sports. I just love it. There’s something about the energy, the excitement, and getting to capture those moments the athletes will hopefully look back on years from now.

I’m always so thankful I get to be there for so many of their high school sports memories.

And I’ll be honest, it’s always a little sad when the seniors are done. You get pretty used to seeing them out there year after year, and then suddenly it’s their last season. ❤️

To start off the season, here are a few from Louisiana High School’s opening game!

I photograph high school sports for The People’s Tribune, so naturally most of those photos get shared over there. Every year I tell myself I’m going to do a better job of sharing some of my favorites on this page too… so maybe this will finally be the year. 😂

14 YEARS! 📸❤️

This month officially marks 14 years of Kimberly Chandler Photography, which honestly feels a little crazy to say!

Fourteen years of babies, seniors, families, couples, milestones, crazy ideas, lots of laughs, and more memories than I could ever count.

Photography has changed a LOT since I first started, and so have I. Looking back at some of my earlier work and then seeing where this little business has taken me is pretty special.

But the best part has always been the people.

Some of you have trusted me with one special moment, while others have come back year after year and let me watch your families grow. Every person who has stepped in front of my camera has played a part in these 14 years, and I am incredibly thankful for all of you. ❤️

So, of course, we have to celebrate!
