I wanted to take a moment for Kelly, my husband and one very loved dad!

Watching him with Piper is something I’ll always be grateful to have photos of. The way she looks at him, reaches for him, and laughs with him is something I know I’ll want to remember forever.

Photos like these are such a good reminder that it’s not only moms and kids who will cherish professional photos! Dads deserve to be in the frame too.

Not every couples session has to be soft and sweet. Some can be a little edgy, a little bold, and a little more “you” than the typical Pinterest-board poses.

I have wanted to photograph my best friend's maternity session since she told me she was pregnant, and getting to actually do it made me teary eyed!

Watching someone you love step into motherhood is something else entirely!! And knowing that Piper is going to grow up with a built-in best friend makes my heart so full I can barely stand it! 💕

There is something really special about being someone's photographer over and over again. You stop being just their photographer and you start being someone they trust, someone they're comfortable with, someone they're happy to see.
