You may think you’ve missed the window for newborn photos, but you haven’t.

While those sleepy, curled-up poses are most common in the first couple of weeks, there is something so beautiful about photographing older newborns.

At this age, your baby is becoming more aware of the world around them. They may make sweet eye contact, offer their first little smiles, and show so much more of their growing personality.

And for mom - waiting a few extra weeks often means you’ve had a little more time to rest, recover, and settle into life with your new baby. You may feel more comfortable being in front of the camera, making it easier to simply soak in the cuddles and connection.

So don’t worry if you’ve been busy and the thought of scheduling newborn photos was too overwhelming. We can still document this season, whether your baby is 7 days old or 7+ weeks old!

Let’s talk about welcoming a new baby while caring for a spunky toddler. There’s something so beautiful about the contrast of these early days.

A newborn arrives wrapped in softness and stillness, while your toddler continues to move through the world exactly as toddlers do—full of curiosity, energy, big feelings, and endless motion.

And somehow together they create the sweetest balance. 
The quiet newborn snuggles. The tiny details. The quick, slimy kisses that last only a second before little feet are off exploring again.   In the midst of the chaos, there is so much tenderness. 
The serenity of newborn bliss woven into the beautiful chaos of raising little ones. And while it may feel like a blur right now, these are the memories you’ll wish you could revisit forever.
