Wheelhouse Art in Louisville hosted my 2025 Louisville Photo Biennial show. And now my exhibition is traveling! One of the first stops will be the Marco Island Center for the Arts in June of 2026.

This exhibition features landscape photographs from SW Florida: The Everglades, Ten Thousand Islands, Fakahatchee Strand, Cypress Swamp, "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Six Mile Cypress Slough, and other locales. One of the motivations behind this exhibition is bringing attention to the threats to these fragile areas: altered water flows, urban and agricultural encroachment, pollution, and invasive species.

YOU CAN HELP!!!! Help fund the costs to move this collection and reach more people. Spread the word. Giclee prints are available for purchase. Printed on rag paper using pigmented inks. $175 each (plus shipping).

To procure a giclee print from the exhibition, email me directly [email protected]

Wheelhouse Art on Frankfort Ave in the St Matthews Clifton area is hosting my 2025 Louisville Photo Biennial show. This show is different. It's not about aperture/ shutter speed/ ISO. It's not about what camera or lens I used - heck someone at the opening reception asked what camera and lens I used and I could not even recall. It's not about photoshop and post processing (of which there is none). It's about the light at the place and time I was there. Light. Place. Time. A special place. SW Florida. A special exhibition inspired by a great photographer - Clyde Butcher. Ten Thousand Islands is the place. An endangered place. Daniel Pfalzgraf, owner and primary curator at Wheelhouse gets it. His wonderful team gets it. I hope you can visit Wheelhouse and become part of a larger audience that cares for Ten Thousand Islands - a true national treasure.

To procure a signed and limited edition giclee print on rag paper from the exhibition, reach out to Wheelhouse Art. Each photograph in the show is limited to just 5 signed and numbered pieces. https://wheelhouse.art/?srsltid=AfmBOorf6ykKb6sQFCT1Cn1PGLoavysy-o1QXqhOMOdeWLoJryIQ7XjM

My landscapes are inspired by Clyde Butcher, the "Ansel Adams" of Florida. Here is one of my photographs from my 2025 Louisville Photo Biennial show that opens today at Wheelhouse Art on Frankfort Avenue, with a reception 6pm-8pm. This photograph is a swamp area just to the right of Clyde Butcher's gallery in Cypress Swamp.
