Little World. I come back to this spot in Eastern Cemetery, because I see something different each time. On this day I took an orthochromatic film, called PolyFilm. It’s an experimental film that is self coated by producer Igor Polyakov, getting uneven, and spectacularly unexpected results. Printing these negatives has been a joy. Temple of Love—The Satterewhite Memorial Temple. Located in the center of Cave Hill Cemetery, it is one the most ornate structures in the cemetery. I and John Gregory were happy to lead of group of photographers that afternoon, showing off some of the picturesque buildings and landscape within our fair city.

The Chief. I don’t use color film but I had the chance to take a free roll of Double Apollo film with me to the Street Rod National Show in early August. I was rewarded with bright light and brilliant color that day. Many thanks to for processing and scanning.

Heart Shaped Tree. We take photos that mean something and nothing. All things become portals to our soul. It’s all a matter of finding meaning in what’s given to us. .

Lone Skater. Took a Practika MTL with a Pentax 35 mm lens for a walk through NuLu last week in preparation for the Great Film Meetup 2 this coming weekend. The skate park on Hancock and River Road is a fine place for graffiti and action shots.

Double Image. I had a role of Fomapan 100 in the freezer that appeared unexposed. In reality, it was a roll from the state fair one year ago. I took this roll with me on a road trip to Cincinnati recently. Amazingly the frames overlapped with the previous exposures. This one combines the neon signs from the American Sign Museum and a carnival ride at the state fair. Serendipity is sometimes a good thing to stumble upon.

Untitled. Buffalo Trace is decorated for the 250th birthday of our nation. I shot this on Kodak TMax 3200 for photographing inside the warehouses. So more to come. The tour is definitely worth the price of admission—free!
