When came in at the beginning of the year to update her headshots, we weren’t just “taking new photos.” We were refining her brand.

Fast forward to know and I’m already seeing those images everywhere — listings, announcements, marketing wins. That’s the power of intentional, strategic headshots. They don’t just sit on a website. They work.

We also refreshed her modeling portfolio with a range of looks — clean commercial, confident business, and elevated editorial. Versatility matters when your image is part of your income stream.

And shoutout to for absolutely dialing in the makeup. Polished, camera-ready, never overdone. The kind of detail that separates average from agency-ready.

We treated ourselves this weekend.

For our second wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something different and memorable, hit every mark.

From the moment we walked in the door, it was an experience layered with nostalgia, education and memories. Experiencing the art of watching your memories develop through chemical reaction is something everyone should do at least once in their life.

Earlier in the week, we kept in low key with lunch at and then caught on the matinee. It was a perfect 2 year anniversary.

Ten years ago, this started as an experiment.

A creative risk with my friends and . No niche. No playbook. Just a belief that headshots could be done better—with intention, style, and consistency.
Those early sessions weren’t about volume or trends. They were about experimenting, failing up, and figuring out what a great headshot could actually be.

That experiment turned into a specialty. That specialty turned into a brand.
And over time, that brand turned into trust.

It’s now 2026, and my work has helped shape the standard for professional headshots in Louisville and beyond, built on consistency, style, and expertly crafted branding.

Real growth doesn’t come from chasing everything.
It comes from committing to one thing and doing it exceptionally well.

Still refining. Still raising the bar. Such a blessed journey this has been for me... Cheers!

Team Highlight! (3 of 4)

This is — and we go way back!
We first met in 2017 at a workshop, where we both joined HSC at the same time. Different paths, same obsession: doing the work right. Her level of work is inspiring but I'd expect nothing less from such a powerhouse such as herself.

Since then, Kim has been a true friend and collaborator — helping shape how we plan jobs, think through individual sessions, scale volume clients, and navigate the logistics of the headshot industry as a whole. Strategic, thoughtful, and always pushing the process forward.

From workshops to the real-world grind, it’s been a heck of a ride
