i’m taking a break from photography.

✨ “all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us” ✨

i am insanely grateful for all the experiences my camera has allowed me to have and all the support y’all have given ❤️ but now I have to be honest with myself; the enjoyment has really faded for me and it has started to feel like a chore 😔 all the work that goes along with professional photography - the culling, editing, file management, equipment prep/organizing/transpo, social media, etc. etc. etc. - just doesn’t feel like how I want to spend my time right now. 2025 has been the year of following my gut and finding happiness, which has included accepting some hard truths like this one. 🥲

A few photos from alaska, my first official vacation in 9 years 📷 incredible scenery 🙌🏽

Traveling with camera gear isn’t the easiest thing, so I was super unsure if I even wanted to take it, since I wanted to *truly* unplug… but with this type of scenery I knew i’d regret it if I didn’t. my lenses are aging, but they seem to be aging well 🙃👌🏼

huge thanks to for letting me join them on the road these past couple weeks 😊 despite the lack of sleep I genuinely enjoy traveling around and meeting people and being in a new place every day and watching the music and just being a part of everything (and not having to cook, honestly).
