Just a little personal stuff for my business page. Little vulnerable post đź–¤

The first time I lost weight it was different. It was healing trauma that was not of my causing. Loss that I couldn’t get past on my own. Loss of marriage, my mother, a baby.

This time it’s even more personal.
It has been me vs me since I started up again a year ago. I have a bad habit of giving up on myself.
Putting everyone’s needs first. Hate asking for help.
But This time I had to do this for me.
I changed my schedule at work which meant advocating for myself.
I had to bring the boys and dad in on my journey to help with Isla and ask them to sacrifice sleep and time in the evenings to watch her.
🌸And isla. She has joined on my living room camera at 5am many times.

My clients didn’t mind that I showed up to sessions a little sweaty.
Rue works insane hours and many times we went days without seeing each other because of workouts.
It was worth it to get here. And I am so thankful for my guys sacrificing to help me and support me on this self love journey.

I am doing this for me. But also so I can be the best me for them.

The time will pass either way.
So kick the sheets off.
Put your feet on the ground.
And start moving your body.

Kane was six months old at my high school graduation. The odds were stacked against him since birth. I have no regrets about the timing of his life or that I was chosen to be his mom. Only that I could not set him up for success from the start. Clearly that didn't matter because this guy beat all the statistics. First generation college student incoming
