Hannah + Sean warned me more than once before their session that they had never had professional photos taken together and were a little nervous about how it would go, which, for the record, is something I hear ALL the time. It doesn’t scare me. 😉
Here’s some encouragement. You don’t need to know what to do with your hands. You don’t need to practice poses beforehand. Just show up, trust me, and I’ll take care of the rest. 🫶🏻

And this shoot was SO FUN. We all laughed so much and I was so sad when they left to drive home to New Mexico. One of those sessions where I just want to become besties. 🥲

I’m so excited to pour more into this little business that has been my side gig for almost 7 years. My heart is just bursting at the seams. 🤎🤎🤎 if you would have told me ten years ago that this would be my life I would never have believed you. Feeling so thankful that I get to do even more of what I love. 🥹

The JOY that just radiates from these!! 🥹

There was truly not a single second of this shoot where at least one kid wasn’t moving. 😂 and they turned out so FUN! Letting your kids lead at your session is always always always the best way to truly document what life looks like these days. This session will be one of my faves forever. 🫶🏻

The initial reaction when I tell people at the start of a shoot that I’m going to be stepping back and doing a lot of observing is panic. It’s hard to “act natural” when you know there’s a camera there. But I promise if you trust me and let the discomfort pass (because it always will), you’ll get a gallery that tells the story of your love better than stiff poses ever will. 🫶🏻
