What a year!! I hope you’ve been well, it’s been a while since I checked in!

I’ve realized over the last couple of months that I really enjoy my time at home, with friends, and with my family. I’ve also been doing some introspection into my passions and right now I feel like I’m not doing my business and clients justice. This isn’t goodbye forever, I love photography and have loved it for well over a decade - I just need a pause to re-evaluate how I want proceed.

I still be posting on stories and maybe some personal things here - but other than that I can give some great recommendations for photographers local to the Lubbock area!

happyyy friday! I can't believe it's MAY and grad season is almost over! I have one last session tonight before I go on vacation for a little bit, but I'm still DEEP in my editing hole! Trying to get as many sessions out before I head out.

This lovely grad, Makayla is studying Human Sciences, so we took a little detour while her partner waited in line at the seal! It's always crazy busy this time of year, so make sure to get to the seal early!!

Newest NICU Nurse on the block! 🤍 So excited for Jackie!! I was blessed to work with her a couple years ago, and I'm so proud of her pursuing her nursing dreams!

Keep our public areas clean from debris and litter! Places like the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum are amazing with letting photographers use their spaces, so let us all keep them clean and beautiful!

need help picturing where to go for your grad session?!

I’m a big visual person, and I have a lot of grads that come from different TTU Colleges who haven’t been on main campus!

By far, the most popular is the main TTU Seal! This one gets the busiest, and yes, I’ve waited an hour + to take photos here 😬

I also love finding new little gems around campus, so that each session I take is a little different!

Starting of my Grad season STRONG with Martin!! This was such a beautiful sunrise session, and Martin brought his A game!

Can’t wait to continue over the next month and meet all my amazing 2024 grads!!

grab your friends & meet me on campus!

A couple tips for grad sessions:
✨ have fun
✨ coordinate outfits
✨ & a champagne pop is always a good idea

These are true, but really group grad sessions are so fun! I like to break mine up a little so that we have plenty of time to take everyone's photos. It's such a great option for groups of friends who want to save some money - and have a great experience!

we love stunning morning on campus with the tulips!

Now, I can't predict when the tulips will bloom, but last year they started blooming in later March - and this photo was taken on April 1st!

The one thing I can predict, is WIND. 🌪️
It's one of those things in West Texas, but we work with it!

I will only reschedule on a windy day when it's like a haboob - or gail force winds. Last year, I did offer a re-do for one of my grads because it was SOOO windy. I want you to have the best photos, and we will wait the wind out the best we can, but I can't control it!
