Hey Lubbock! Thanks in advance for your support. I am thinking about starting a new venture. You see, I love using my from and smoker. I also move creating my own seasoning and rubs. I have another page and world out to promote the idea. Do. you think this would go over well in Lubbock? I

Timeless muscle. 🏁

I caught this 1968 Pontiac Firebird recently and knew it had to be shared in black and white. There’s no hiding behind a flashy paint job here—just pure lines, heavy chrome, and that classic "beak" grille.

First-generation Firebirds are getting harder to find in this condition. Does this bring back memories for anyone else? My favorite detail has to be those wrap-around turn signals unique to the '68 model.

Chrome and Character at Mackenzie Park

There is a specific kind of gravity that old trucks have. They don't just occupy space; they hold onto history.

While wandering through a recent car show at Mackenzie Park here in Lubbock, I found myself stopped in my tracks by this mid-century Ford. In a sea of vibrant paint jobs, this build spoke a different language—one of raw power and hard work.

As a photographer, I’m often drawn to the "faces" of these machines. By choosing a black-and-white finish, I wanted to highlight the contrast between the rugged wooden stakes and that gleaming polished chrome.

The Music That Never Dies 🎸🕶️

You can't talk about Lubbock without mentioning the legendary Buddy Holly. I spent some time at the Buddy Holly Center and the West Texas Walk of Fame capturing these shots of his statue. Whether it’s the soft light of the afternoon or the dramatic shadows at night, this monument stands as a powerful reminder of the "Lubbock Sound" that changed rock 'n' roll forever.

Standing here among the names of so many other West Texas greats on the Walk of Fame, you really feel the musical heartbeat of our city.

Neon Nights in the Depot District 🌵✨

There is nothing quite like the glow of the Cactus Theater at night. Built in 1938, this historic landmark has seen so much of Lubbock's musical history pass through its doors. From its days as a premiere movie house to its current status as a world-class performance venue, the Cactus is truly the heart of the Depot District.

I wanted to capture the vibrant colors and that classic "Main Street" feel that makes our city special. It’s a reminder that even in a digital world, there's nothing like a live show under these neon lights!

The Workhorses that Built West Texas 🚜🌾

I spent some time at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture (FiberMax Center for Discovery) recently, getting up close with these amazing pieces of history. From the massive steel wheels of the antique Case to the classic lines of the early Ford tractors, these machines are a testament to the hard work of our local farm families.

It’s one thing to hear stories about the early days of farming on the South Plains, but seeing these workhorses in person really puts it into perspective. We owe so much of our local heritage to the grit and innovation represented here.

Preserving the Heart of the South Plains ❤️🚜

There’s no better place to capture the spirit of West Texas than the Bayer Museum of Agriculture (FiberMax Center for Discovery). Standing on the edge of the Yellow House Canyon, this spot honors the families and the grit that turned Lubbock from a small ranching village into the "Hub City" we love today.
