Since we were balancing time between photographing the rodeo and visiting with everyone at our Fine Art Portrait booth, we weren't able to cover every event or every contestant. We captured as much of the action as we could, and we had an absolute blast doing it!

If there's enough interest, we'd love to bring a dedicated photographer next year to provide even more complete rodeo coverage.

Tiny cowboys. Tiny cowgirls. One determined sheep. 😂🐑

Mutton Bustin' might just be one of the cutest events at the rodeo! Watching these fearless little ones hang on with everything they've got is guaranteed to bring smiles, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

I had an absolute blast capturing some of the action at the Oldham-Cummings VFW Post 6441 Rodeo in Wimberley. From determined faces in the chute to big grins after the ride, these kids gave it everything they had!

We weren't the official rodeo photographer this year since we were balancing our time between our booth showcasing our portrait business and photographing the rodeo. We have a few images from Saturday's first round and captured a handful from the other two nights as well. We know we didn't catch everyone, but we hope you enjoy the moments we were able to capture!

The action is incredible! 🤠🐂

Bull riding is absolutely fascinating to watch—the power, skill, and determination of these riders is amazing. It's also one of the most dangerous events in rodeo, which makes every ride that much more intense to witness.

I loved capturing these heart-pounding moments!

The action in the arena never disappoints! 🤠🐎

Here are a few of my favorite moments from the VFW Wimberley Rodeo, featuring steer wrestling, breakaway roping, and barrel racing. Every event is packed with speed, precision, and determination, and it's always a privilege to capture these split-second moments that tell the story of the ride.

We loved Aspen and Ruth’s 🥰 so adorable! Aspen decided the cake was delicious and Ruth took small samples here and there but the balloons were definitely more appealing. 💕
