After a few hiccups and crazy post-Thanksgiving work schedule, the photos from the event at SMASH K9 on Small Business Saturday are completed and uploaded to the website for viewing and downloading.

A 𝙑𝑬𝙍𝒀 𝑺𝙋𝑬𝘾𝑰𝘼𝑳 𝑻𝙃𝑨𝙉𝑲 𝒀𝙊𝑼 to Shawn and Sheri at SMASH K9 for hosting and all of their hard work creating a space for us. Another 𝙑𝑬𝙍𝒀 𝑺𝙋𝑬𝘾𝑰𝘼𝑳 𝑻𝙃𝑨𝙉𝑲 𝒀𝙊𝑼 to Laurel from Friends of the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter for helping manage and pull everything together.

For those interested, our snow was provided by Snow Effects out of Colorado. A Premier Visual FX company specializing in Winter Effects that are eco/family/pet-friendly.

Finally, a HUGE Thank you to 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂-𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒔 for taking a moment from his busy schedule in the North-Pole to visit Calvert County Maryland.

Exciting day 😎
Today L&S Studios has the privilege to celebrate the holidays with Friends of the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter and SMASH K9 by bringing winter to Smash K-9 (and rumor is Santa is making his way there as well).

Today from 10AM until 2PM, we will be providing photography for you and your pet(s)/family at Smash K9 in Prince Frederick MD. Come get your picture with Santa (or by yourself) and see the amazing vendors and pet services offered in Calvert County, Maryland. A mere $15 contribution is requested.

There will be food trucks and other vendors all catering to you.

Hope to see you there and have an opportunity to “freeze a memory in time for you and your pet(s)”.

**𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧**

𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘-
You ever thought about Thursday as compared to the other days of the week?

Imagine for a moment...

𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚- "A day of REST", "The Sabbath", "The Start of a NEW Week"... Sunday has it's recognition in so many ways.

𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚- Monday is the hated one in the bunch. It's the bully who everyone hates but accepts because sometimes he brings an extra day of relaxation and fun called "holidays". He's there to keep us humble and for many, the true start to the week... his only real problem, he always shows up too soon.

𝑻𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚- Tuesday could almost be overlooked, but then you think "TACOS" and all is well with the world again. Tuesday is the day where everyone is glad Monday has left the room and the "REAL WORK" can get done. He's got a dutiful purpose and as mentioned... it's an excuse to eat TACOS!

𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚- "HUMP DAY!!!" this guy had his own commercial made about him! He's the guy everyone is glad to see and brings a sense of calm... there's still time to get stuff done and you're past the hurdles of getting started... it's cruise mode at this point.

𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚- Everyone LOVES Friday! She's the life of the party. There are probably more references to TGIF and other variations of "Thank Goodness It's Friday" than any recognition the others may get. She is the one that is encouraging you even before you get out of bed to be in a better mood because her friend Saturday is coming over.

𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚- Saturday is that day that everyone makes plans to see. Probably the most loved of the group, Saturday lets you relax if you want to, sleep in if you want to, go for a hike providing Grandpa Weather cooperates, and stay up ridiculously late because Sunday will let you rest and recover. Most everyone loves Saturday... they're just KEWL like that!

That brings us back to 𝑻𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚... They're like that weird kid in school that everyone stared at wondering "what the heck are you doing here?". They stand in the corner and really just put a dull vibe. Everyone acknowledges their presence, but it's usually in the form of knowing that Friday will be there any moment now. Wednesday and his gang are all like... "Really Thursday? Do you always have to be in the way? We're trying to get to Friday and her friend Saturday!" Thursday is also the one who is like that class monitor in grammar school. They keep reminding the class that they have to stick to task because time is running out. The fun of Wednesday, Friday and Saturday is interrupted by that speed-bump of "Thursday". Thursday - the Black Sheep of the bunch... typically you can find Thursday sitting in a bar talking about how "Thirsty" they are.

I’ve not ever been really good with “Social Media” and especially IG; however, as I begin embracing my passion for photography again in the DC, MD, VA area and have met some new artists in the past few months, I am looking forward to posting, sharing and inspiring others in their creative journeys.
I have even added a new page to my website where you can see many of these images and more.
Don’t be afraid to reach out if you’re in the area and would like to collab… I am looking for other artists and creatives; especially models, with whom I can practice “freezing memories” with.

Our offices are in one of Oxford Properties wonderful locations and as part of May's Mental Health Awareness, they partnered with a local Animal Shelter, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, to bring a few young canine friends into the building...
