Justin came to me with an idea. They were coming into town and he wanted to take Karleen to the Ringling. No significance, no reason to suspect anything. Just a beautiful day at a stunning museum in Sarasota.

Except, he had a ring 💍 in his pocket and their family was hiding in the banyan trees. 🌿

Justin do his thing. He guided her through the rose garden into the stone gazebo — and got down on one knee.

She had absolutely no idea about any of it. That look on her face when he got down on one knee,I live for that. 🤍

While Emily stood in front of that gorgeous Sandpearl window I watched Alex jump in there making sure every single layer of that train was absolutely perfect before she stepped back and let her girl have her moment.

The way he held his mom during their dance stopped the whole room 🥹 Renee walked down the aisle in her mother’s dress. And their little boy Tobias? He ran laps around the garden in his sage green suit with a bubble wand like he owned the place.

This family showed up for each other in every single moment of this day — and I was so honored to be there for all of it.

Six years ago, I photographed their wedding. ✨

Then I got to meet their twins, Noah and Lilly. 🤍

One of my favorite frames from the day happened before we even started — Grammy holding sweet Lilly, smiling down at her in that way only a grandmother can. The best moments are always the in-between ones.

The Sand Pearl lobby basically became their backdrop, and honestly? It was meant to be. 🌸

Those three heron paintings, the warm yellow walls, the floral rug — Emily and Tim’s mauve and sage color palette walked right into that space and just belonged there. From her lace gown and that cascading bouquet to his perfectly coordinated light grey suit, every single detail was intentional and it shows.
And this crew? That wedding party in their mixed mauve and floral sage dresses alongside the guys in grey — I could have photographed them all day.
We are just getting started with this one. There is so much more of Emily and Tim’s day to share and I cannot wait to show you more. 📷

He leaned in before I could even say “look at each other,” and that was it. That’s the whole thing.
Renee and John didn’t need any direction here — this moment just happened, and my only job was to be ready for it. The way he rests his head against hers, the way she smiles like she already knows… that’s not a pose. That’s them.
This is why I do what I do. Not to document how people look on their wedding day, but to capture how they feel about each other. It’s a privilege every single time.

I had the absolute best time with this crew at the Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum — Captain in his little tie, Joey with her flower, and two people who are just so completely ready to marry each other. The love in these photos practically jumps off the screen.

Tonight you’re sleeping as an engaged couple for the last time. Tomorrow you say I do at the beautiful Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, and I get a front row seat. 🌴
