Seventeen years ago, when I started Timeless Portraits, people would ask why I got into photography. The truth is simple: I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, and my nieces and nephews gave me the perfect beginning. They arrived in the world at just the right moment and let me learn and grow in my craft, first through their baby days, then their childhoods, and eventually their senior portraits. Recently I’ve photographed some of their next chapters, including their pregnancy announcements and the beginnings of their own families. Somehow, my business and these kids grew up together. Their milestones became my milestones, and their stories shaped the heart of Timeless Portraits.
As I look back, I’m reminded that this business didn’t grow only because of those early years. It grew because of every single person who trusted me with their memories. To all my past clients, thank you for inviting me into your milestones, your celebrations, your quiet moments, and your stories. Your trust has shaped Timeless Portraits in the most meaningful ways.
I’m grateful for every year, every season, and every photograph. Thank you for seventeen years of letting me do what I love. Here’s to many more.
