One of my favorite things from Trish and Timothy’s wedding was the time of worship they had with their family and wedding party while they followed Jesus’ example and served each other by washing the each other’s feet. Such a beautiful time watching them begin their life together in humility and a posture to put the other before themselves. 🤍

Taking a pause on sharing family photos to share a personal post. Had the privilege today of capturing a few shots while we worked on a future homeless shelter here in Lynchburg, VA. has undertaken the huge task of renovating the old Euclid Christian Church building to fill the gap left by the current homeless shelter that is closing its doors this summer. My church .church joined forces with them today as a part of our For Lynchburg week of service to tackle a small portion of the work with some cleaning and painting. Still a lot of work to be done and if you’re local I’m sure they can find ways for you to help! After opening, they’ll be largely run by volunteers so plenty of opportunities to get involved then as well. The Ramp is doing really great work here in our city!

Living in California I rarely had to consider the weather for photo sessions…it was likely going to be warm and sunny, hot and sunny, or stupid hot and sunny. Occasionally smokey. Drenchburg, on the other hand, is so RAINY! Feels like I haven’t had a sunny day for a session in a long time so this session was a lovely change of pace.

What’s not to love about a cozy morning session with snow on the ground, fire burning, the snuggliest newborn and sweetest couple?! Just started editing this morning’s lifestyle newborn photo session and I couldn’t wait to share a few. So in love with this whole session so far! In-home sessions are great in so many levels, not the least of which is getting to stay warm and cozy in your own home!
