The purpose of this club is to offer students a medium and platform to express their creativity, specifically through the means of photography. Art is a hyper-expressive means of communication. It is one of the most honest assertions of one’s self. Being at a distinctively Christian University, as well as being denizens of the culture, we believe that our art should reflect who we are, where we ar
e, and why we are. Whether these goals are achieved through the learning of simple camera settings to advanced photographic techniques, workshops to guest speakers, and group photowalks or deeply personal photographic projects, we believe that this club will add to the aesthetic and academic quality of campus life. The Photography Club will give students (and staff) an opportunity to learn more about this growingly popular field, in an informative, interactive, and informal manner.
