Hope Stevens Photography Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see, & everything to Photography has been a hobby of mine for a long time.

From the time I got my first camera, I fell in love with taking photos. I was the girl in school running around to different events getting everyone to say "web shots" as I snapped unlimited amounts of photos. Expanding my hobby to the next level, my focus is lifestyle photography including but not limited to couples, families, special occasions, events, babies, and milestones.

The day began with one final walk through the halls of Fort Defiance High School during the Senior Salute, before crossing the street to greet students at the elementary and middle school. They shared one last senior lunch on the patio, soaked in the moments of rehearsal, and just after 8PM, finally heard the words they had been counting down for…

“You may now turn your tassels.”

An unforgettable ending to one chapter and the beginning of another. Congratulations, Class of 2026 — job well done. 🎓

When the big day finally hits. 🎓

All the congratulations to this season of graduates — but this one is extra special.

I met Alex when he was just an 8th grader, then had the privilege of being his school counselor through four long, unforgettable years of high school. His class was part of the high school COVID era, and I’ll never forget him walking into my office and saying, “Finally… no more masks.”

That cohort will always hold a near and dear place in my heart.

Alex is also the one who once told me, “Ms. Stevens, chill… writing long, lengthy posts is what 40-year-old moms do.”

Turns out, it’s also what proud mentors do.

From high school, to college, to officially graduating today with a Bachelor of Science in Economics — what a spectacular journey it has been watching you grow and capturing the milestones along the way.

Wishing you all the success in this next big chapter ahead. 💛🎓💜👨🏽‍🎓
