Clients often ask me what happens to all the pictures I take. The pictures they don’t choose as favorites, the pictures that don’t make it to the final cut, all the finished galleries……
The short answer is “nothing”.
The long answer is: I regularly replace external hard drives and camera memory cards, and the galleries on my website NEVER expire.
So your images are always going to be available *somewhere*.
My website automatically archives older galleries and it could take a day or two to retrieve them, but I CAN retrieve them. When a memory card fills, I don’t format over the images on that card-I throw it in the backup box and buy new cards. When hard drives fill, I buy another one.
So even if your wedding or photo session was years ago-odds are very good that I’ll be able to access your gallery one way or another.
I will never purposely delete or restrict access to a gallery. No deadlines for downloading. Your images will be available whether you want them tomorrow or 6 years from now. I got you. 😁 📸
