Let’s swap!!

Just a little reminder — I do offer bartering! 🤩

That simply means trading services instead of paying out of pocket. So if a session isn’t in the budget right now, we might be able to swap talents instead 🤍

This year, I’d love to trade a few photography sessions for things my family and I actually use or need.

A few things I’d potentially trade sessions for:

• Hair, nails, or other beauty services
• Homemade goods like jams, pies, baked goods, or other food items
• Tattoo credit
• Landscaping
• Massage
• Custom birthday cakes or decorated cookies
• Help with projects like building, painting, or remodeling (we have a big summer ahead!)
• Branding photos of me in action (taken by another photographer)
• Handmade items like jewelry, blankets, woodworks, etc.

And honestly, I’m open to other ideas too if it’s something my family could use or I can gift!

Of course we’d make sure the trade is fair for both sides—I want it to feel like a win-win 🤍

With the rising cost of utilities, gas, groceries, and just the overall cost of living, I’ve decided to keep my standard and family session prices the same as last year.

Back in December I had mentioned that prices would likely increase due to my own out-of-pocket session expenses, but after thinking it over, I don’t want anyone to miss out on capturing special memories because of affordability.

To help families even more, I’m also offering 15% off a family session when you book a senior session. 🎉

I know times are tough right now, and no one is quite sure when things will ease up. My hope is that this makes it a little easier for those who have been hoping to update their family photos or book a senior session.

If you’ve been thinking about scheduling a session, now is a great time to reach out and get on the calendar!

📸 It’s been a quiet winter over here, but the weather is finally warming up!

In this past winter my family sold our house, moved to Machias, and I began working at C.H.O.I.C.E.S. regularly, so its been a break seas for me but my schedule for May-Aug sessions is open and ready for booking. Please keep in mind between working, home renovations, and the busy summer season, dates tend to fill quickly — so if you're hoping for photos this year, I recommend booking ahead rather than waiting until the month you want them taken.

🏁 I’ll also be spending more time at local dirt tracks this season capturing racing action. If you're a driver interested in photos, message me with where you plan to be racing and we can talk about special packages for drivers.

🌸 Additionally I recently purchased a spring backdrop and will be announcing Spring Mini Sessions soon, so keep an eye out for those!

I don’t normally post political or news stuff on my business page but I recently read that schools all over are cancelling picture day due to Leon Black, co-founder of the parent company that owns Lifetouch, being listed in Epstein Files.
If your school has/is running into this issues and you want to get your child’s school photo done, I am more than happy to set that up for you. I have done school photos for a private school the last two years and I do not use Lifetouch. Not posting this for drama or confrontation, just so you have an option for your child’s school photos. 🙂
