As an artist, few opportunities carry the significance of ArtPrize.
It is far more than an exhibition—it is a celebration of creativity where artists from around the world share their work, invite conversation, and connect with people through ideas, emotion, and storytelling. To simply be selected to exhibit is an honor I do not take lightly.
I am deeply grateful to share that my work has been selected for exhibition at The B.O.B. during ArtPrize 2026.
What makes this moment especially meaningful is that it brings me full circle.
More than 26 years ago, while I was a student at Western Michigan University, The B.O.B. was a place where friends gathered, memories were made, and life felt full of possibility. I never imagined that one day I would return—not as a patron, but as an artist whose work would hang within those same walls.
That realization is both humbling and deeply personal.
Every painting I create represents countless unseen hours of observation, experimentation, failure, persistence, and growth. Like many artists, I continue to learn with every brushstroke. To have this work become part of a conversation that celebrates creativity alongside so many talented artists is a privilege in itself.
Whether someone spends a few seconds or several minutes with my work, my hope is simple: that it leaves them feeling something—curiosity, reflection, joy, or perhaps a reminder that our shared experiences often connect us more than we realize.
Thank you to ArtPrize, The B.O.B., and everyone who continues to support artists and the belief that art has the power to bring people together.
I look forward to sharing this experience with all of you.
